Graphical User Interface (GUI)

A type of user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices through graphical icons and visual indicators, as opposed to text-based user interfaces, command-based interfaces, or text-based interfaces. A GUI can include windows, icons, buttons, menus, and other elements that can be manipulated with a mouse pointer, finger, or other input device. GUIs are widely used in most modern operating systems, software applications, and mobile devices and enable easy and intuitive interaction with digital technologies.
